Personality: Reborn, no matter how strong the emotion, he is always seen with a straight face. He handles any situation (horrible or not) in a calm manner. He tends to nap at the most odd times possible.

Despite his stoic expression he trains his students thoroughly. He pressures them lightly when he thinks that they need to be pushed passed their limits. Though, if a student does not want to practice and ends up wasting his time Reborn will leave the student alone until they come to him, ready to resume practice.

On a darker note: Reborn is very sadistic, and enjoys dueling a tad too much then most of his students (past and present) and he’s generally violent when it comes to heart of dueling. When he wants something, he takes it without a second thought of who he might be hurting or who it might affect. And the reason why he’s the best duelist in Italy is because he doesn’t let his emotions get the best of him.

Background (AU!Canon; HP): Reborn grew up in Italy for the first sixteen years of his life; he went to a witchcraft school in Italy and succeeded with high grades. He passed his OWLS and NEWT with high marks. For his high scores, his parents rewarded him by giving Reborn a magical, shape shifting, green chameleon as a pet. Reborn named him Leon.

For two years he trained Italian wizards and witches of all ages in the proper etiquette of dueling. Whenever his students are progressing to a higher level, his pet chameleon, Leon, tends to loose his tail. Reborn notes that this will be the hardest part for the students to get through and encourages them to get through it. Towards the end Leon re-grows his tail and makes something special and unique for Reborn’s students.

Before moving to Japan, he trained an Italian boy by the name of Dino Chiavorone. At first Dino was reluctant, but then gave in when he saw that becoming head of the Chiavorone family was futile. He trained and tutored Dino, homing his dueling skills. Now the Chiavorone family is a force to be reckoned with in all of Italy.

A year later after training Dino, he moved on to Japan to train the young witches and wizards there. He enjoyed the atmosphere in Japan—it suited him well, and gave him many new interesting duel challenges. He spent three years in Japan until he hears of a witchcraft school in London that is in need of a dueling professor. Slightly interested, he packs his bags and moves to England.
